Kishore Jena, another player from India, who was competing in Group A did not surpass the 87-meter mark in the qualifiers. Jena’s campaign ended with his third throw reaching 80.21 meters, falling short of the required standard. At the Asian Games the previous year, Jena had secured his place with a throw of 87.54 meters but he struggled to replicate that form in the current Paris Olympics 2024.

Kishore Jena, despite his efforts, could not make it past the qualifying roud, with his best throw reaching 80.21 meters.

Group A was led by Julien Weber from Germany with an impressive throw of 87.76 meters in the qualification round. Jakub Vadlejch also secured his place in the final with a throw of 85.63 meters. Kishore Jena’s performance included a fouled second throw and a first attempt of 80.73 meters, which was not enough to advance him to the final round.

In total of 32 athletes competing, only 12 athletes were able to advance to the final match for the men’s javelin at the Paris Olympics. Kishore Jena from India who was placed in Group A has to face a tough competition from Germany’s Julien Weber and Czech’s Jakub Vadlejch.
