Bodh Gaya is where Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha, attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree over 2,500 years ago.

MAHABODHI TEMPLE

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, stands at the spot where the Buddha attained enlightenment. The structure  dating back to the 5th or 6th century.

BODHI TREE

The sacred Bodhi Tree, believed to be a direct descendant of the Buddha's original meditation tree, serves as a serene destination for pilgrims and visitors.

CHANKRAMANA

The jewel walk, believed to be the path where the Buddha walked in meditation after attaining enlightenment.

SUJATA STUPA

A short distance from Bodh Gaya is Sujata Stupa, which commemorates the woman who offered rice milk to the Buddha before his enlightenment.

NALANDA UNIVERSITY

While not in Bodh Gaya itself, nearby Nalanda University, a renowned ancient center of learning, is worth a visit for its historical significance.

ROYAL BHUTAN MONASTERY

One of the many monasteries in Bodh Gaya, the Royal Bhutan Monastery is known for its intricate architectural details and serene atmosphere.
